FoxyJam is an Android app for tracking homemade jams. It is published by
foxykeep. This page describes what data the app uses.
Summary
- No account required — the app works offline on your device.
- Optional Google sign-in syncs your jam data to your private cloud backup.
- No ads and no sale of personal data.
- No analytics SDK is included in the app at this time.
Data on your device
Stored locally unless you use cloud sync:
- Jam batches (fruit, dates, weights, sugar, pectin, jars, notes)
- Blend components and extra ingredients
- Inventory counts
- Display settings (units)
Cloud data (optional sign-in)
If you use Sign in with Google:
- Firebase Authentication receives your Google account ID, and typically your email and display name.
- Your jam data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore under your user ID, only accessible to your signed-in account.
Sign out in Settings to stop sync. Local data remains on the device.
How we use data
Only to run the app, provide suggestions, and sync across your devices when signed in. Not for advertising or marketing.

Retention & deletion

Cloud traffic uses HTTPS. Firestore access is restricted per user. Protect your device and Google account.

Not intended for users under 13.
